There are two things about this ‘holiday’ I just don’t get.
Why do towns insist on having Trick or Treat on other nights?
Some councilman or woman thinks an advertised event on a different night will deter vandals. Yah, all these people with eggs and toilet paper show up on the 31st wondering where the hell everyone is.
Do they have to show every horror movie ever made this week?
There are only so many Jason or zombie films I can handle in three days. On a side note I think the people that play zombies in movies are better actors then the Rock.

Wow Chris, I lay low for a couple of weeks and you come out with a seriously awesome blog. (apparently wordpress came much easier to you than it did to me) It looks great!
Like you, there are things about this holiday that I don’t get either. I wasn’t all that comfortable about seeing my daughter go to school today dressed like Little Red Riding Hood meets Victoria Secret. (aka Little Red Riding Ho) The sad thing is that the costume did not break any of the high school dress code rules. (Maybe I’m just getting cranky in my old age)

@Laurie: Thanks :) I have the gift of very fast learning but the theme is from one of the template sites so I didn’t create it. All I did was add all the widgets and tweak the sidebar. That stuff is easy. Creating a theme from scratch, well I’ll leave that up to the coders.
About the costumes though…are they getting skimpier or has the media convinced us every adult male is a pervert?
@Diesel: Having trouble sleeping?
@FIAR: There is a town in Mass. that has trick or treat the Thursday before Halloween every year which makes no sense. I also have no clue what they do when it falls on a Thursday.
