Angry Seafood Awards
There are a lot of lame-ass awards out there in the blogsphere, let’s be honest. Much like a meme, they carry the baggage of furthering along the award like an internet chain letter.
Some, however are different. They are simply accomplishments without strings attached.
My first real award was winning Diesel’s Caption Contest a little while back. A very fun one to enter and the competition is tough. It just goes to show the quality of the humor Diesel’s readership has.
Here was my winning entry:
Wednesday I won my second real award: Lord Likely’s Golden Cock of Excellence.
Like the Caption Contest award, the Golden Cock of Excellence honor is earned, not passed about like a cheap hooker. Thankfully, winning this one required my attempts to entertain people with my words as opposed to any orifice.
